Leistungsaufnahme
Etwas spannender hingegen wird es in der Leistungsaufnahme. Während bei manuell hochgesetztem Power Target die GeForce GTX 680 noch Spielraum bis maximal 225 Watt besitzt, riegelt die GTX 670 (als normale Referenz) bei zirka 190 Watt ab. Ohne Spannungszugabe erreichen wir diese Regionen fast schon mit unserem exemplarischen Titel Tom Clancy's Hawx. Mehr als das, was man manuell herauskitzeln kann, dürfte ein ambitionierter Übertakter dann wohl auch nicht mehr erreichen können.
Gespannt sind wir natürlich auf die OC-Modelle der Boardpartner und die Frage, ob jene eventuell Einfluss auf das Power Target nehmen durften.
